Cannabis Innovators Prepare for the Pitch of a Lifetime
The Boston chapter of Women Grow, the largest networking organization for cannabis industry professionals, will host a Signature Networking Event: Preparing for the Pitch of a Lifetime at the Boston Center for Adult Education on March 2. Phyllis Vena, CFA, former Investment Associate with Privateer Holdings, and Michael Bourque, President and Chief Innovation Officer at CannaKorp, Inc. will present.
“Innovators, service providers and capital providers are coming together now to develop new products and services for the cannabis and hemp industries, positioning themselves for success both in business and in achieving increased, safer access for patients,” said Beth Waterfall, Women Grow: Boston chairwoman. “This event is a safe place for them to come together to create or grow cannabusinesses that meet women’s interests and address women’s needs.”
The panelists will discuss tips for creating an effective pitch, avoiding the red flags investors don't want to see, understanding investor assumptions and the obstacles to a successful pitch, and nailing down an elevator speech for quick pitches wherever attendees go. The event will also explore new opportunities for the creation of products and services that meet patient and recreational user needs.
The event is open to the public and media. For more information and to register, visit iflw.co/wg-boston
